Visit our website autismlearners.com for more information on the resources we offer. The Book/Publisher Sales Representative will sell our books to bookstores and similar retailers. The primary focus of this role will be to increase Autism Learner's presence in physical and online stores where books are sold. Responsibilities and accountabilities: Develop and implement a sales plan with a focus on increasing book sales in your territory Develop and implement a sales plan with a focus on attaining, as well as, retaining sales channels with retailers Track and report on marketing/sales plan outcomes on a weekly basis Present products offered by Autism Learners to target customer base at their place of business Attend key events, trade shows or other business gatherings , as needed Skills Required: Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, business, advertising, communications, public relations and/or a related field of study 1 year experience in advertising, marketing, public relations or a related field 1 year experience in education o book sales Excellent interpersonal and conversation skills Excellent report writing, presentation and record keeping skills Confidence when speaking and/or presenting in front of an audience Tenacious and self-motivated Proficient with current office suite and publishing software Exhibits adaptability, integrity and the ability to be a self-starter Strong organizational and time management skills Portable electronic device that can be used for presentations and other work-related tasks Willingness to travel to customer locations, as needed This is a 1099 independent contract position with a commission only pay structure Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
